Unique Crafters Challenge 11 New Beginnings

This month at Unique Crafters Challege we're celebrating new beginnings! It's a new year and a new start.
I wanted to make something a little different this month and still keep in the theme of winter, so I altered a large matchbox. I can never get enough of white on white and thought it would be perfect using the snowflakes and glitter to help ring in the new year.

Our sponsor this month is Scrapbook Unique who will be awarding a wonderful prize package to our winner!
I painted a large matchbox white and added lace to the "drawer". The background is a moroccan tile svg from MTC gallery that i covered in white glitter. The large snowflakes are from "A Child's Year" Cricut cartridge and I punched the small ones using a Marvy punch.. I got all the flowers from Wild Orchid and the bow is from paper ribbon I ordered from Bags and Bows. The tassel and pearls were purchased from Michaels.
So, start thinking on the lines of "New Beginnings", be it wedding, new baby, new home, new year, etc., and enter this month's challenge! You have from the 1st through the 31st of January to enter up to 3 times. Any type of handmade or altered craft is welcome; a card, tag, ATC, page layout, altered handmade box, etc - let your imagination be your guide!

This matchbox will be entered in the following challenges:
Crafty Creations Challenges #203 - Anything Goes
Wild Orchid Challenge #66 - Anything Goes
Ladybug Crafts Challenge - Anything Goes
