So many blogs, so little time!

This morning I was "blog surfing" when I came across a great challenge blog, Tuesday Throwdown and noticed a sponsor, mygrafico. Being somewhat new to the "digi world", I went over to the website to check it out. OMG! They have awesome SVGs, this being one of them! When I saw it I just HAD to have it. I did spend the extra bucks to get the license rights because it's so beautiful and I know I'll be making many cards with it. Thanks Tuesday Throwdown!

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!

Happy Mardi Gras! We thought it befitting to make some
really fun things for Mardi Gras. Last night I made these festive
masquerade mask candies! I've never done anything like this,
but it was so much fun. (Now I can't wait to make some cute little
bunnies for Easter).
Since I'm mostly a card maker, this day wouldn't
be complete without a matching card! We hope you have fun today. Celebrate! Pin It

Folded Easel Card

This is a very different way to showcase a birthday sentiment! You get to see both sides without opening the card. I made the stencil using my Make The Cut. What a unique way to show off your card!

Cardabilities Sketch Challenge #49

This is the first time I've entered a
Cardabilities challenge and I had
such fun! I really enjoy looking at
what everyone else has done to see
their creative interpretation!

I found this gorgeous vintage looking lace at Hancock Fabrics and the silver metal hearts were from a pair of earrings at a dollar store!
Roses. pearl swirl and pins, and ribbon came from Michael's. Sentiment is a stamp.

Valentine for my Sweetie!

Sentimental Sundays "Feel the Love " Challenge

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday! Yes, even more than Christmas. I make valentines for everyone and here's a valentine I made for my sweetie. I downloaded the music sheet for my background, printed the sentiment using the Eutemia font on my MTC so I could manipulate the word placement. Twine, feathers, and a button created a more masculine look for this very romantic card!

Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC 117

I have so much fun with The Play Date Cafe color combinations. Ivory, periwinkle, and lavender are so tranquil that I thought looking out of a window seeing a field of lavender would be perfect. It's always fun at The Play Date Cafe.

I made this box to hold all of my valentine's!
Making boxes is one of my favorite craft
projects and, of course, matching cards!
The top is embossed and accented with small pearls.

Creative use for frap carton and bottles

I found a new use for all those leftover frap bottles and boxes. They're too cute to throw away!
I went to the Graphics Fairy images and picked out fruit to match the flavor of the jam. I painted the carton chocolate brown, covered it in coordinating paper with a label. I painted the tops ivory and attached the fruit image with twine.

Initial Wall Hanging

Once again, I went to Graphics Fairy to find this soft green background. The font is "Parchment" and I used small topaz colored gems for the corners.
